Tamzin Outhwaite: I’m not unlovable after split

Tamzin Outhwaite doesn’t feel "unlovable" following her "shock" split from ex-husband Tom Ellis.

The former ‘EastEnders’ actress ended her seven-year marriage to the ‘Miranda’ star last year after he allegedly cheated on her, but Tamzin – who has two daughters, Florence, five, and 20-month-old Marnie Mae with Tom – is now eager to move forward and doesn’t feel "damaged" by her very public divorce.

Speaking in the new issue of Good Housekeeping magazine, she said of the split: "It was a complete shock.

"It’s been a tough year but when things like this happen to you, your resolve and strength of character come through.

"We are rebuilding quite well. I don’t feel unlovable or damaged. I’m thinking about what the possibilities of my future now are.

"I would have done anything to keep my family together but it wasn’t to be. I do feel pretty strong."

The 43-year-old actress has credited her close friends for helping her through the painful split.

She added: "Some people didn’t mind sitting there listening to me talk and still do. It makes you realise who your friends are – which friends you would go into battle with and which ones you don’t mind just going shopping with.

"I feel very lucky to have the love I have in my life, and losing one person doesn’t change that."
