Oasis add five dates in South America to their huge comeback tour

Oasis will play two nights at the famous River Plate Stadium on the South American leg of their reunion tour.

After teasing fans on social media about the imminent announcement of dates in the continent, the ‘Supersonic’ hitmakers have added five dates to their mammoth ‘OASIS LIVE ’25’ world tour.

They will play two nights at Argentina’s Estadio River Plate in Buenos Aires on November 15 and 16, followed by a night in Santiago, Chile on November 19, and wrap with two nights at São Paulo’s Estadio MorumBIS stadium in Brazil on November 22 and 23.

The shows will mark the reunited Britpop legends’ first shows in South America in 16 years.

The group famously played River Plate Stadium on their ‘Dig Out Your Soul’ tour in 2009 – the same year they separated after a furious row between frontman Liam Gallagher and guitarist Noel Gallagher backstage at their final concert at Paris’ Rock en Seine festival – and it marked one of the biggest concerts of the ‘Don’t Look Back in Anger’ group’s history drawing in 36,216 fans.

Oasis have shared separate messages for their fans in Argentina, Brazil and Chile.

They said: “People of the great nation of Argentina. Oasis are coming home to The River Plate. Be there.”

Addressing fans in Brazil, they said: “People of Brazil. Carnival has come early. Fix up. Look sharp. Oasis will see you soon.”

And to those in Chile, they added: “People of Chile get ready, the brothers are coming.”

Following unprecedented demand for tickets in the UK, Ireland, North America, and Australia, a fan pre-sale will take place. Registration for the pre-sale is open at oasisinet.com until Wednesday, (06.11.24) at 11am local time. Tickets then will go on general sale on November 13. Argentina tickets will be available from midday local time. Brazil tickets go on sale at 10am local time and at 11am from the official box office. Chile tickets drop at 11am local time.

The comeback tour kicks off on July 4 at Cardiff’s Principality Stadium.
