TNA Wrestling launching family Xplosion

TNA Wrestling is launching a new family orientated show on Challenge.

The grappling company will air ‘TNA Xplosion’ on Saturday mornings and the revamped programme will have in-ring action with all the top Superstars and will be suitable for fans of all ages.

TNA President Dixie Carter and the roster of wrestlers are thrilled to be part of the new programme because "there is no greater feeling than seeing the eyes of a child light up" when watching their favourite grapplers in action.

Dixie said: "’Xplosion’ moving to Saturday morning on Challenge is a strategic and natural evolution of TNA programming, as our product resonates with fans of all ages.

"Families with young children are always strongly represented during TNA’s annual ‘MAXIMUM IMPACT Tour’. I am confident with the new format and time slot of ‘Xplosion’ we will continue to attract new fans, particularly kids.

"Ask any TNA Superstar and they will tell you, there is no greater feeling than seeing the eyes of a child light up when he sees his favourite wrestler in action."

‘Xplosion’ will be hosted by Jeremy Borash and features a mix of new matches, classic bouts and Spin Cycle panel debates.

The programme will air at 9am every week on Challenge – available in the UK and Ireland on Sky, Freeview, Virgin Media and Freesat – from Saturday May 31 at 9am.

The roster of TNA Superstars, which includes Kurt Angle, Jeff Hardy, ‘The A-Team’ actor Rampage Jackson and Bully Ray, can also be seen every Sunday night on ‘TNA IMPACT’.
