TOWIE stars return for 10th anniversary show

‘The Only Way Is Essex’ will see the return of it’s iconic stars to celebrate its 10th anniversary.

The ITV reality show kickstarted the careers of stars like Amy Childs, Joey Essex, Jess Wright, Lydia Bright, and Danielle Armstrong before they left the show to pursue other paths.

But now, they are officially set to return for the upcoming reunion series ‘TOWIE Turns 10: All Back To Essex’ to discuss some secrets from behind the scenes and to share the truth behind the programme’s biggest scandals.

Paul Mortimer, Head of Digital Channels and Acquisitions for ITV, confirmed: "After 10 years, ‘TOWIE’ is still going strong and remains the number one show on ITVBe.

"We’re thrilled to be welcoming back new and old faces for the upcoming mega-series as the show celebrates this special anniversary."

Sarah Tyekiff, Head of Unscripted for Lime Pictures, added: "We are so excited to get the iconic ‘TOWIE’ back on people’s screens, twice a week, for what is going to be a huge Anniversary season.

"It’ll be back with a bang to celebrate 10 phenomenal years with our amazing cast and see the return of some very familiar faces. What happens in Essex, won’t stay in Essex!"

The reunion – which will launch on ITVBe on Sunday (06.09.20) – will be accompanied by the show’s 26th series with two 60-minute episodes each week.

Last year’s season ending with more juicy action than ever, but the new series could see more drama as the show is set to look at the uncertainty left by the coronavirus pandemic.

What’s more, fans will be spoilt with ‘The TOWIE Years’ – narrated by Denise Van Outen – on ITV Hub which will explore a different year through the show with each episode.
