‘Made In Chelsea’ is set to film ‘Big Brother’-style episodes in a Surrey stately home due to lockdown restrictions.
The hit E4 reality series is expected to feature stars including Jamie Laing and his girlfriend Sophie Habboo in Guildford, where they will live together in a big house throughout August.
A source told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "The show’s producers are unable to film a normal series because of Covid-19 so they have come up with the great idea to hire a big country house and see what unfolds.
"There’s just no way they could possibly film fights, rows and romance in restaurants and bars right now, so they are planning to get a place in Surrey and film throughout August."
Joining Jamie and Sophie will be Alex Mytton and former ‘Love Island’ star Zara McDermott and her boyfriend Sam Thompson.
Bosses are also seeking out old flames to add to the mix and create even more suspense for the cast.
They continued: "Bosses are drawing up a list of just who will be going into the house, and they are even debating sticking in a rogue ex here and there to spice things up. It’ll be like a posh ‘Big Brother’."
The last series aired in March before the coronavirus pandemic halted production.
It saw the return of ‘Made In Chelsea’ alumni Binky Felstead and Tiffany Watson, as well as Ollie Locke and his fiance Gareth Locke.
Ollie, 32, was last seen in series 16 of ‘Made in Chelsea’ after announcing his departure from the show.
