Mel B has quit ‘Celebrity Juice’.
The 45-year-old Spice Girls star has stepped down from her role as Team Captain on the ITV2 show but she is likely to return in the future as a guest.
ITV said in a statement: "Mel has been a brilliant team captain and we’d like to thank her for all the laughs.
"We have no doubt she’ll be back to banter with Keith Lemon as a guest on the show in the near future.
"A brand-new series of ‘Celebrity Juice’ will be on ITV2 this autumn with two new team captains and a whole host of guests… watch this space!"
Mel joined the show last year to replace Paddy McGuinness, who lasted just one season after taking over from Fearne Cotton.
A source told the Daily Star newspaper: "Melanie has loved working with Leigh Francis [Keith], Holly Willoughby and the whole team at Celebrity Juice but next year is going to be very busy for her."
Meanwhile, in May, Holly quit the ITV comedy show after 12 years in order to spend more time with her family.
A source told The Sun on Sunday newspaper: "Holly has absolutely loved her time on the show – it’s been a huge part of her life, and has really helped to expand her fanbase over the years.
"But she feels now is the right time to bow out and wants to free up a bit more of her busy schedule to spend with her family."
Holly – who has Harry, 10, Belle, nine, and Chester, five, with her husband Daniel Baldwin – remains on good terms with ‘Celebrity Juice’ host Leigh.
The source said: "She’s still the best of pals with Leigh Francis and will continue to support the series."
