Connor Calland still doesn’t know if Jordan Price will survive on ‘Hollyoaks’.
The soap star has heard fan theories that his character was in the body bag which was seen during December’s flash forward scene, and he has "no idea" about his Jordan’s fate on New Year’s Eve 2020.
Speaking to RadioTimes.com, he laughed: "I’ve been told several times the dead body is me by fans.
"All their theories sort of makes sense, which makes it worse. I have no idea if it’s true. I’m in the show and they seem to know more than me!"
Jordan’s world is about to get turned on its head with the arrival of Victor (Benjamin O’Mahoney), who will be revealed as the real boss of the County Lines drugs gang.
Viewers have already seen Jordan recruiting Sid Sumner (Billy Price) and Juliet Quinn (Niamh Blackshaw) to help, and he has also targeted Charlie Dean (Charlie Behan).
The new arrival will change the dynamics on the show, but Connor isn’t sure his own character can be redeemed.
He admitted: "It’s a big ask considering what he’s done, and what he will do.
"He is troubled underneath it all and a victim of the system himself. If you don’t get out and get help, he is an example of how it can turn out."
With everything set to change on the Channel 4 soap, the 23-year-old actor is excited for the way the plot will shift.
He recently said: "A lot of people have labelled me as the bad guy, which I am. But if you think I’m bad, there’s another thing coming.
"Victor brings an element of unpredictability and aggression that maybe Jordan lacks as much as him. I think Jordan brings those elements to the show, but when Victor comes in, he brings a lot more and turns it up another notch."
