Jorgie Porter is ‘thirstiest single person’ as she turns to virtual dating

Jorgie Porter thinks she’s "the thirstiest single person" during lockdown.
The former ‘Hollyoaks’ actress has been turning to "virtual dating" during the coronavirus pandemic, and she joked it’s probably for the best at the moment.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 Live, she said: "So I’m only dating through a screen, because I’m the thirstiest single person.
"I’ve just been watching the rugby match highlights on silence because I’m just watching the men."
Jorgie has also loved the freedom and admitted she feels more comfortable "interrogating" potential partners because they’re not having a conversation in person.
She explained: "You can go in with any question because you are home safe and you can literally say – I get a bit interrogating.
"I’m like, ‘Do you want kids? Are you OK with the dog sleeping in the bed?’ All these things of things, ‘Do you wear odd socks?’ So you can get away with – it actually becomes quite fun!"
The 32-year-old star said she’s actually becoming "less shallow" through getting to know people on Zoom and FaceTime because there is more of a focus on conversation than an instant spark.
Discussing how meeting someone online might not go to plan, she added: "What if they smell really bad? I’m dreaming running towards each other like across a field, a meadow.
"What if, actually, you don’t get on in real life or anything happened? But it’s all the suspense, I think, building up.
"It’s like I’ve become less shallow! Like now, I’m interested in not what they look like, as such."
It comes after Jorgie previously suggested she might be "too old" to be doing sexy photoshoots.
She said: "I think I might be too old. Where does it end? When will people say, ‘Stop taking your clothes off?’
"I didn’t get to shoot a calendar for 2020 – my photographer was getting her wisdom tooth out. I thought nobody would care.
"But I’ve had so many messages asking me why I haven’t done one, I feel quite guilty. Maybe I should have shot one on my phone."
