Karen Hauer’s Strictly workout

Karen Hauer keeps fit by carrying her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partners around.
The 38-year-old professional dancer has previously been paired with presenter Mark Wright, journalist Jeremy Vine and singer Will Young on the show and revealed that she always loses weight during training because she has to work twice as hard to whip her partners into shape.
She told The Sun newspaper: "When I start ‘Strictly’ I always lose a lot of weight. I am constantly on my feet and I am sweating.
"Plus at the start I have the weight of a whole other person’s body that I am having to carry around as I teach them what they’re doing.
"Training them becomes a whole workout in itself and it keeps me so fit."
Karen also revealed she has more body confidence now that she had 10 years ago.
She explained: "I feel so much better now at 38 than I did at 28. I feel healthier than I did when I was younger.
"When I was in my twenties I just wanted to dance, I didn’t think about what I was eating. I was constantly on tour. I was just thinking about the right now.
"But once you hit your thirties your body changes. I just adjusted.
"It is hard sometimes, the industry shows you what the perfect body is but there is no such thing as the perfect body.
"The perfect body is the body that you have right now."
