Alan Halsall paid a romantic tribute Tisha Merry on their first anniversary.
The ‘Coronation Street’ actor – who has played Tyrone Dobbs on the cobbles since 1998 – celebrated a year with his girlfriend this week as the couple enjoyed a special date night at home during the ongoing coronavirus pandemic.
Sharing a sweet snap on Instagram, he wrote: "1 year. 12 months. 52 weeks. 365 days. 8760 hours. 525,600 minutes. 31,536,000 seconds…….& I’ve loved every second.
"What a difference a year makes & what a difference you make to my life!!
"Happy anniversary @missdrewmerry93 I love you x. (sic)"
Tisha – who appeared as Steph Britton on ‘Corrie’ for four years until her exit in 2018 – shared a similarly romantic post with her own followers as she thanked Alan for "being everything".
She wrote: "How life can change in a year.Happy Anniversay @alanhalsall
"Thank you for being everything I could ever dream of! Here’s to many more years! I love you. (sic)"
Alan and Tisha moved in together in September 2019, and they are currently spending time at home as people across the UK are told to stay inside amid the current health crisis.
The 37-year-old soap star – who has six-year-old daughter Sienna with his ex-wife Lucy-Jo Hudson – has been using his time off wisely, as he has been ridding their home of junk items they no longer need.
Posting on her YouTube channel, Tisha teased: "So Al is taking the isolation one step further and is decluttering the entire house. He’s really proud of the fact that he’s decluttered the garage. It looks very, very good. Good lad."
