Jacqueline Jossa tortured herself by searching "fat Lauren Branning" online on a daily basis during her time on ‘EastEnders’.
The 27-year-old actress has confessed she regularly searched for negative and critical comments from trolls when she was on the soap.
Speaking to new! magazine, she shared: "They called me the new fat Lauren, there were Facebook groups and all sorts about. I was literally Googling my name every single day or writing ‘Lauren Branning fat’ or ‘new Lauren Branning’. It was always negative and I would just be obsessed with reading forums and negative things about me."
The ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’ winner recently said she might return to ‘EastEnders’ "one day".
Asked if she would ever head back to Walford, she said: "Maybe one day, I would never, ever say never. I got thrown off a building, and I hobbled off with a walking stick. She’s somewhere, I think she might be in New Zealand. I loved it there [on ‘EastEnders’], it was amazing."
The Queen of the Jungle would love to land some musical theatre roles soon, or even release some of her own music, but admits her "heart" will always be with TV acting.
She said: "I haven’t really met up with management and all of that. I think I want to do some form of theatre, maybe musical theatre, maybe my own music? Obviously, my heart is always with acting so back on the telly doing something like that."
Jacqueline also previously admitted she is still affected by being called "the new fat Lauren Branning" 10 years ago.
She shared: "10 years ago I landed the BEST job in the world! Loved ever second of it, this picture changed my life. I used to hate this picture so much I got trolled so so badly, "the new fat Lauren branning" "Why recast and then get someone so much uglier and what is the hair cut" I admit I really hate the hair cut now … but jeez ppl can be mean, and to a 17 year old girl, words hurt a lot! It effected me for a LONG time! Probably still does actually if I’m being honest. (sic)"
