Gemma Collins’ reality show has been thrown into "chaos" by coronavirus.
The ‘Only Way Is Essex’ star was due to start filming in China this month for the brand new series of ‘Diva Forever’, but producers have had to scrap the plans after the outbreak.
Gemma told The Guardian newspaper: "I was supposed to be going to China this month, but with the coronavirus, I don’t wanna risk it.
"Then again, when it’s your time, it’s your time."
Gemma is expected to start filming next week when producers find a new location "glamorous and fabulous enough for The GC".
An insider told The Sun Online: "Gemma’s dream was to go to China, she thought about Africa too and even Thailand, but has had to rule loads of countries out now due to coronavirus. It’s a huge drama and total chaos.
"Show producers have called emergency meetings to discuss what to do as it’s too dangerous to fly out Gemma and the crew.
"They’re tearing their hair out over where to go and what to film – the show is called Diva and needs to show off her jet-set fabulous life to the max – but at this rate she could be forced to stay in Essex."
Gemma’s show was re-commissioned by ITV for a further two series this year after the success of the first, which aired in 2019.
The 39-year-old star excitedly told her social media followers: "INTERNATIONAL BABY. I’m so excited to tell you DIVA is back baby this year for TWO MORE SERIES!!!!!! (sic)"
In the first series, Gemma went to Los Angeles where she lived it up alongside her and Kim Kardashian’s best friend, Jonathan Cheban. She walked the red carpet in Hollywood and went house-hunting for a multi-million dollar mansion in the hills.
