Dua Lipa, Calvin Harris, Kings of Leon, The Strokes, and Major Lazer are all set to headline Sziget festival in August.
The ‘New Rules’ hitmaker, the 36-year-old DJ, the two rock bands, and the EDM trio – which includes Diplo – are among those set to take to the stage at the mammoth seven-day festival, which takes place in Budapest, Hungary, between August 5 and 11 this year.
Alongside the festival’s headliners, big names including A$AP Rocky, Khalid, Stormzy, Lewis Capaldi, Foals, Mark Ronson, Foster the People, and FKA Twigs have also been confirmed as making appearances.
Diplo will join Major Lazer for a headline slot, but will also be taking to the stage on his own for a solo DJ set elsewhere in the week.
Other performers include Miles Kane, Sigrid, Mabel, Loyle Carner, Little Simz, Tom Walker, Of Monsters and Men, slowthai, Anna Calvi, Jade Bird, Keane, and more.
So far, 80 acts have been announced across the week-long event, which is set to be attended by over 530,000 people from over 100 different countries.
The festival takes place on Budapest’s Óbuda Island, which is also known as the Island of Freedom, and will feature a program of theatre, cabaret, installations, performances and art.
There’s even a beach on site for festival goers to relax in the summer sun.
Tickets are available from szigetfestival.com, and currently start at €199, though prices are due to change on March 3.
