Tamzin Outhwaite joins Emilia Clarke in star-studded West End show

Tamzin Outhwaite has joined the all-star cast of ‘Seagull’.
The former ‘EastEnders’ star has been confirmed for the upcoming West End production alongside ‘Game of Thrones’ actress Emilia Clarke, and she feels "lucky" to be part of the production at the Playhouse Theatre.
She tweeted: "I am so delighted to be able to tell you all about this. Feeling incredibly lucky right now."
Directed by Jamie Lloyd, the production is Anya Reiss’ modern take on Anton Chekhov’s ‘The Seagull’.
Joining Tamzin, who will play Polina, and Emilia – who takes the lead as Nina in her West End debut – in the show are Danny Ashok as Medvedenko, ‘Hustle’ star Robert Glenister as Sorin, Tom Rhys Harris as Trigorin, ‘Casualty’ actor Patrick Robinson as Dorn, and ‘Luther’ star Indira Varma as Arkadina.
Rounding off the cast are Daniel Monks as Konstantin, Sean Shote as Shamrayev and ‘Fresh Meat’ actress Sophie Wu in the role of Masha.
It was recently revealed Tamzin – as well as the likes of Christopher Timothy and Jim Moir – will be making guest appearances in the new series of ‘Shakespeare and Hathaway’.
The ex ‘EastEnders’ duo and the comedian – who is also known as Vic Reeves – will star in the third series of the BBC One daytime drama, which returned to BBC One this week, alongside Jo Joyner and Mark Benton, who have reprised their roles as private detectives Luella Shakespeare and Frank Hathaway.
Tamzin said: "I absolutely loved playing the feisty tiger mum Jessica in ‘Shakespeare and Hathaway’!
"The script was great fun and the cast are a dream to work with."
Jim added: "It was one of my best acting experiences of last year, working with one of my best friends Mark Benton. And my new friend Jo Joyner."
Other guest stars include Ted Robbins, Sara Stewart and Sally Lindsay
