Kym Marsh is "still recovering" after taking care of her grandson Teddy this week.
The former ‘Coronation Street’ actress – who played Michelle Connor for 13 years until her exit in December – was stepping in for her own daughter Emilie as she went back to work, and she admitted the eight-month-old tot was quite the handful.
Writing in her column for OK! magazine, Kym said: "I looked after my grandson Teddy for a 12-hour stretch this week when Emilie went back to work after her maternity leave – and I’m still recovering!
"I can’t have any more children anyway, but if I ever needed something to prove to me that I’m too old to even consider another baby, this was it.
"I was shattered. Teddy’s crawling now and has started pulling himself up. I couldn’t take my eyes off him."
Despite the challenge, the 43-year-old star still loves spending some quality time alone with her grandson.
She added: "It was lovely to have him all to myself though. I could spend all day long smelling his head."
Kym revealed last year she was leaving ‘Corrie’ to take on new roles, while she also explained Teddy was a big factor in her decision.
She previously explained: "Another big factor in my decision to take a break from Corrie is the impending arrival of my grandson. I’m looking forward to having more time to spend with him and Emilie after he’s born…
"Other actresses from the show have gone on to do other incredible acting work, so who knows! It’s scary but I’m also really excited about what the future holds."
