Ant and Dec eye up 20th National Television Awards

Ant and Dec are already eyeing up a 20th National Television Awards win.
The Geordie duo won the Best TV Presenter prize for a staggering 19th year in a row at this year’s ceremony, and they’re looking to a round number as their triumphant run continues.
As quoted by the Daily Star newspaper’s Hot TV column, Ant McPartlin said: "We are more grateful than we ever have been before.
"We are voted for year after year after year and we are incredibly grateful… It would be nice to get 20, though."
The popular pair – who are hosting ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!’, ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ and ‘Saturday Night Takeaway’ in 2020 – insisted they are "under no illusions" their successful run at the NTAs won’t last forever.
Dec Donnelly added: "Every year we have the same conversation in the car on the way to the awards and say, ‘This could be the year we might not win’.
"We’re under no illusions that the time will come when we don’t get this award.
"It will happen one day. So to keep winning is simply mind-blowing."
Their comments come after Ant and Dec legally trademarked their names and the phrase "Ant and Dec presents…".
The duo protected their rights to the branding on a wide variety of merchandise and projects after registering their trademark at the Intellectual Property Office.
Ant and Dec first trademarked their names in the UK in 2003 with the Entertainment Services entitling them to the rights of TV shows, computer games, apps, music, DVDs, audio books, websites, blogs and forums.
Now, the pair are are set to stack the cash now they have ring-fenced the marketing of printed books, stationery, greetings cards and educational material in their names.
They have also protected themselves against their names being used at theme parks, discos, amusement arcades, theatres and even circuses without permission.
