Emmerdale’s Andrew Scarborough says Graham death was ‘fairly obvious’

Andrew Scarborough thinks it was "fairly obvious" that Emmerdale’s Graham Foster would be killed off at some point.
The 47-year-old star’s alter-ego is to meet his maker at the hands of one of the villagers this week, but the star isn’t sure which character will "have the guts" to bump off the Dales bad boy.
He said: "With a character like Graham, who lurks in the shadows, I think it was fairly obvious that was going to happen at some point.
"I don’t know who would murder him. Who would have the guts to murder him, more importantly.
"Kim is very upset, Jamie is very upset."
When asked what he would’ve done differently if he had his time again, he quipped: "I would’ve played a vicar. No, I’m joking."
And the actor joked his alter-ego is simply just "deeply misunderstood".
He added to ‘Lorraine’: "I don’t think he has deliberately upset anybody at all. I think he’s deeply misunderstood."
‘Emmerdale’ confirmed in December that Graham would be killed off early this year in a big murder mystery plot.
A week of special episodes will kick off today (20.01.20), which will see the same day play out from a different character’s perspective as each one has a motive to murder Graham.
Producer Laura Shaw said: "Graham’s murder will form part of an unmissable week of drama packed full of exciting twists and turns.
"It’s always exciting to step outside of our usual story-telling style and viewers will be on the edge of their seats as some of our villagers have their lives irrevocably changed forever.
"Graham has been a huge character at the heart of some of our biggest storylines so it felt only fitting that he left us with an enormous, explosive bang, to kick off what promises to be a massive year of drama for ‘Emmerdale.’ "
