Tisha Merry won’t rule out returning to ‘Coronation Street’.
The 26-year-old actress – who played waitress Steph Britton from 2013 to 2017, making a brief return the following year – explained she stepped away from the soap "for a little break" and admitted she would "never say never" to a cobbles comeback.
Speaking to fans on her YouTube channel, she said: "I didn’t leave to never go back, like I said I left for a little break.
"’Corrie’ was hands down the best years of my life, and the hardest years of my life. I did a lot of growing up on that show.
"I enjoyed it, it was something I’d never really done before and I made some lifetime friends, and met some incredible people, and I would never say never to going back."
Tisha – who is dating current ‘Corrie’ star Alan Halsall (Tyrone Dobbs) – is looking to settle down after taking some time to "find out" who she really is as a person.
She added: "I think the older I get, the more I’m like, ‘I’ve done the things I want to do now, I’m happy. I need to settle and stay in one place.’
"’Corrie’ was amazing for that. Some of my proudest moments were at ‘Corrie’ and I would never, ever say no to going back.
"But, I am really glad I took the decision to take a break and find out who I am."
Tisha recently admitted she was a "paranoid wreck" during her stint on the show because of her acne.
She said: "I would get home from work, wipe my make up off and just cry.
"I was in a bad place basically. It probably wasn’t just the spots, but they contributed to what else was going on.
"It was really, really hard to deal with and it affected my confidence, and it affected where I went and became paranoid with how I looked and what other people could see in me and I became paranoid that the audience, the people that watched ‘Corrie’, would notice my skin."
