Matt Lucas heartbroken over death of dog Hob

Matt Lucas is heartbroken over the death of his beloved dog.
The former ‘Little Britain’ star has paid an emotional tribute to his pet pooch Hob, who sadly passed away on Friday (15.11.19), and said his house felt "silent" without his best friend.
He wrote on Instagram: "On Friday my dog Hob died. Hob could bark for England. Now the house is silent.
"Hob was one of the greatest friends I’ve ever had. Thank you Hobby. I love you xxx (sic)"
Fans and fellow stars were quick to send their condolences, with many followers posting messages of support.
Sarah Millican wrote: "Oh so sorry to hear this, Matt. Lots of love to you."
Courtney Act added: "So sorry to hear that! Sending much love."
Matt’s emotional post comes just a month after he paid tribute to his ex-husband Kevin McGee on the 10-year anniversary of his suicide.
The former couple married in December 2006 but they were divorced by 2008, and Kevin was found dead in his flat in October 2009 after taking his own life aged 32.
Sharing a snap of his ex smiling, Matt wrote last month "This is Kevin John McGee, who died ten years ago today. I loved him more than anyone I’ve ever met, and still do. He was so funny and silly and clever and kind and handsome and his smile made my heart soar.
"We were together for nearly six years and he made me the happiest man on the planet. In the end he lost his battle with addiction and depression. I guess some people don’t have the armour for this world.
"I think of him probably a hundred times a day, every day. In truth, I think of little else.
"I would give anything to see him again and maybe one day I will, but for now I will be grateful for the time we had together and the love we shared. It was like no other."
