Celine Dion thinks Jack could have fit on the floating door with Rose in ‘Titanic’.
The 51-year-old star – who sang the hit movie’s iconic theme song, ‘My Heart Will Go On’ – has reluctantly waded into the debate surrounding the memorable scene from the James Cameron-directed film, in which the two main characters are separated at sea.
On the ‘Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, the host explained: "Celine, I always try to ask you a good ‘Titanic’ question every time you’re here because I know you probably love those…"
The TV star subsequently asked whether Rose could have just scooted over a little bit in order for Jack to live.
Celine replied: "Don’t put me in trouble. What if they want to do a ‘Titanic’ number two?"
But, she then added: "First of all, if you look closely [at] the picture, Rose is maybe dead or totally frozen, and she’s not quite all there, okay?
"Second of all, he doesn’t need an invitation. Come on, baby! Make himself comfortable. Jump in. You know?
"And then who did not think about this guy who is in the middle of the frozen ocean and that maybe all his body is so frozen that he didn’t have the strength to…"
Meanwhile, Ariana Grande previously revealed her singing talents were discovered whilst singing the ‘Titanic’ theme song on a cruise ship.
The pop star was just seven years old when she performed Celine’s track ‘My Heart Will Go On’.
Unbeknown to young Ariana, Miami Sound Machine singer Gloria Estefan watched her perform and called her over to tell her that making music was her destiny.
Ariana said: "I was on vacation with my family and I was doing karaoke and it was a terrible song choice – we were on a cruise and I decided to sing ‘My Heart Will Go On’ from ‘Titanic’. Really dark choice, but I was only six or seven so I didn’t know what I was doing. "After I was done somebody came up to me and was like, ‘Gloria Estefan would like to speak to you.’ I was like, ‘Are you serious?’ And my brother was like, ‘Are you f***ing serious?’ And we went together to go say hi to her. She was like, ‘I just want to let you know that you are so talented and do not ever give up.’ It was crazy."
