Gary ‘Gaz’ Beadle proposed to Emma McVey with a firework display.
The 31-year-old reality star revealed he popped the question to his pregnant fiance – who is expecting a baby girl – over the weekend as he shared a photo on Instagram with the loved up couple showing off their engagement rings.
Now, Gaz has revealed exactly how he proposed as he shared a video on the social media site featuring a lavish firework display with a personalised sparking sign which read ‘Will you marry me?’
He pulled out all the stops for his partner of four years, and the Instagram clip also featured a photo montage of the ‘Geordie Shore’ star getting down on one knee in the kitchen with a diamond ring soundtracked by Bruno Mars’ hit ‘Marry You’.
He captioned the video with a collection of emojis including an engagement ring, fireworks and a love heart.
Meanwhile, the former party boy has admitted he is "basically retired" after he stopped partying.
He said: "We’re too old to party as much as we used to. We’ve realised there’s more to life than all of that.
"I’m basically retired. People think I’m Gaz who wants to get p***ed all the time. But I’m more likely to be in the queue for soft play than a club these days. I’ve only had one night out this year and I was home by 1am."
Gary left ‘Geordie Shore’ after six years to focus on fatherhood but he admitted he is loving life out of the public eye, and he is enjoying the chance to be himself with his family.
Responding to an Twitter troll who claimed the former reality star only had "video game and babies" to keep him busy, he fired back: "If only u new how nice it felt to be irrelevant spent 7/8 years being a little puppet to management and tv producers…
"Being normal and having family is actually amazing… oh and not to mention the stuff I invested in all paid off so I can enjoy it.. but yer thanks (sic)"
