Judges Prue Leith and Paul Hollywood will return to assess the array of festive treats, whilst Noel Fielding and Sandi Toksvig will be on hand to comfort the bakers as they reprise their hosting roles.
The gang will judged on their culinary efforts as they see in the New Year with the London Community Gospel Choir.
However, Nicola is already working up a sweat as she prepares to face the scary Paul in hopes of gaining the legendary Hollywood Handshake.
In one reply to a fan, she tweeted, Nicola wrote: "To answer some of your questions:
"Yes it will air in the States (I dunno when I’ll tell you as soon as I do)
"Yes I now have PTSD when I think about fondant icing. (sic)"
Meanwhile, ‘Derry Girls’ – which follows four teenage girls in 1990s Northern Ireland – is to return for a third season.
Fiona McDermott, Head of Comedy at Channel 4, said: "It’s no surprise that Derry Girls continues to delight a growing legion of fans – a combination of magical writing and adorable characters make this show both timely and timeless.
"We’re delighted to confirm a third series – don’t tell Ma Mary, but I’m breaking open the Christmas cupboard in celebration."
