Saffron Barker thinks Strictly partner will ‘hate her’ due to training focus

Saffron Barker thinks her ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ partner will "hate her" because she will not want to stop training for the show.
The YouTuber feels like the "luckiest girl alive" after she was confirmed as one of this year’s celebrity contestants, and she is determined to work her "absolute socks off" during the "hard" training sessions.
She said: "I think my partner is going to hate me, because I will not want to leave that training studio.
"I want to work my absolute socks off, be the absolute best that I can be.
"I’m so excited for everybody to come on this journey with me.
"I’m so grateful, I feel like the luckiest girl alive. I can’t wait for everything.
"I’m excited to learn a new skill, I’m excited for all the glitz and glam.
"I know it’s going to be so much hard work. I’m ready to work hard and get in that training studio."
Saffron’s parents and grandparents were left in complete "shock" to hear she had landed a place on the show, and her dad couldn’t stop smiling for an hour.
He said: "I’m so happy and proud of you.
"I don’t know what to do, I can’t stop smiling."
Saffron’s mum added: "I feel like an emotional wreck just thinking about it. I’m so excited!"
Speaking in a vlog on her YouTube channel SaffronBarkerVloggs, the star added: "When you first tell someone it’s such a big shock to the system.
"My grandparents are always watching it and I think their immediate reactions were shock."
Saffron will be joined by Jamie Laing, Will Bayley, Michelle Visage, Viscountess Emma Weymouth, Karim Zeroual, Mike Bushell, Catherine Tyldesley, David James, Chris Ramsey and Emma Barton on the Latin and ballroom show.
