Ant Middleton in talks for kids version of SAS: Who Dares Wins

Ant Middleton is in talks for a kids version of ‘SAS: Who Dares Wins’.
The former Special Forces soldier admitted he would love to take on a fresh challenge by putting children through their paces in a new edition of his popular Channel 4 series.
He told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre TV column: "I’d absolutely do a kids version of SAS. We’ve been talking about it.
"It’s all about mindset so it would be getting the kids to get strong mentally and physically."
The gruelling boot camp-style series could be tough for the kids taking part, particularly after Ant, 38, admitted he doesn’t make eye contact with his nine-year-old son Gabriel if he gets injured to try to prevent the youngster from crying.
He previously said: "I do say to him, ‘Son, come on, you’re a little man now, have a stiffer upper lip.’
"If he was to fall over and hurt his knee and look up at me, I avoid eye contact. The moment he sees my eyes he’s going to start crying.
"However, if it was my daughter [Shyla], I’d be straight over there to comfort her."
Meanwhile, it was recently reported that ‘Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins For Stand Up To Cancer’ is set to become a "whole series".
The charity special saw 12 stars pushed to their limits on a seven-day slog led by chief instructor Ant in front of an impressive 1.7 million viewers, and bosses at Channel 4 are said to be offering up a large budget to get "massive names" to take part in a full run of episodes.
An insider said last month: "Channel 4 were really pleased with the reception the celeb charity version got, and now producers have got big budgets in place for a whole series.
"They are keen to attract massive names to take part … they really want to avoid it being saturated with the usual reality names."
