Helen Flanagan will "definitely" return to ‘Coronation Street’ because she misses the soap "so much".
The ‘Corrie’ actress went on maternity leave in June last year, and insists her alter-ego Rosie Webster will certainly be back on the cobbles at some point but she just needs to manage a comeback around her daughters, Matilda, four, and 11-month-old Delilah, who she shares with Glasgow Celtic footballer Scott Sinclair.
She said: "I miss ‘Coronation Street’ so much, and I am definitely am going to go back. Definitely.
"It’s just working it around my girls.
"Matilda is at the stage now where she is four and she needs to be taken to all her lessons and obviously with me living in Scotland it’s a four-hour drive [to Manchester]. Delilah is nearly one.
"But I just love it [‘Corrie’] so much."
Should Helen return to Weatherfield this year she may not see much of her on-screen sister Brooke Vincent (Sophie Webster), who announced in April she is expecting her first child, and the 28-year-old star has tipped her pal to be "the best mum".
Speaking on ‘Lorraine’, Helen added: "I really miss Sally [Dynevor, who plays Sally Metcalfe] so much, and I miss Brooke and she’s having a baby now, which is amazing.
"It’s really nice because when she found out she was pregnant she rang me straight away. I was so excited because she’ll be the best mum."
Helen recently admitted ‘Corrie’ is a great place to work for a mum or dad because everyone shares parenting tips.
She said: "We all share parenting tips in the green room at ‘Corrie’. It’s such a family atmosphere.
"I went to the National Television Awards the other week, which was fab.
"It was really fun to get glammed up again and to feel nice in my dress. I took Delilah too – my best friend looked after her while I went to the awards.
"All my old ‘Corrie’ mates got to meet her at breakfast."
