Isaac Hempstead Wright fears being typecast after Game of Thrones

Isaac Hempstead Wright is worried he’ll be typecast after playing Bran Stark on ‘Game of Thrones’.
The hit HBO show will come to an end after eight seasons this year, and the 20-year-old actor admitted he’ll "take his time" when considering his next role as he wants to be cast for his acting skills rather than the "association" to his character.
Speaking to Digital Spy, he said: "You’ve got to take your time. A lot of the actors on this show, it was the first time our faces were seen on-screen, so there’s even more of a connection, and an association, with these characters specifically, rather than with us as actors. So it’s a key time now."
Isaac went on to explain that although he’s carefully considering his next move, he’s "thrilled" to have been part of the programme and thinks there are "worse things" to follow you around.
He added: "There are worse things to follow you round for the rest of your life. It’s not like we’re part of something awful! People love it, and are thrilled when they hear you were part of it."
The star previously spoke of Bran’s transition from a timid child to the omniscient Three-Eyed Raven and described it as one of the "most extraordinary" character arcs of the whole show.
He said: "I’d say that there’s a very small sliver of Bran left in the Three-Eyed Raven, but it just makes up a very small part of who he is. That’s something that’s so exciting – especially as you watch what happens with Bran in season eight. It’s so cool to look back at season one, and to see his whole character arc – I think it’s been one of the most extraordinary of the whole series."
