Gemma Collins will "not be joining" the cast of ‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire’.
The 38-year-old reality star swapped Essex for an appearance on the all-female series when she was spotted filming scenes for her cameo in the ITVBe show last month and while regular Dawn Ward praised the ‘TOWIE’ star, she insisted her pal won’t be a permanent fixture because it would be a very "different" programme.
Speaking on Thursday’s episode of ‘This Morning’ (11.04.19), Dawn said: "No she’s not joining ‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire’, it’d be a much different show, but she has done a cameo role. I see a lot of Gemma as she’s a friend of mine, and it’s a reality show so it was really good fun."
The 45-year-old star – who has been on the series since it hit TV screens in 2015 – is known as ‘The Manipulator’ onscreen, and she admitted that the title actually "annoys" her because it couldn’t be further from her character.
She added: "No. It annoys me just because I’ve got a strong personality which I’m sure everybody knows, and I always feel that I’m a fair person. I don’t try and turn people against other people as I’ve often been accused of, I always think that in life, everyone should make their own decisions."
And the blonde beauty insisted that the show is very real and often squabbles between the group are "a lot worse" than what viewers see on TV.
She added: "We get asked this all the time, unfortunately, it’s not scripted and it’s a lot worse than what you see."
‘The Real Housewives of Cheshire’ will return on Monday (15.04.19) at 10pm on ITVBe.
