Brooke Vincent celebrates 15 years on Coronation Street with hair memory

Brooke Vincent cannot believe it’s been 15 years since she first starred in ‘Coronation Street’ – and has recalled having her hair chopped off for the role.
The 26-year-old actress remembers having her tresses trimmed and being given a fringe when she first joined the soap as Sophie Webster in 1994, and joked she is still "making a nuisance" of herself 15 years on.
She wrote on Twitter: "F I F T E E N Year’s ago today was my first day at playing "Sophie Webster" They cut off all my hair and gave me a fringe Who would have thought all these years later I would still be there, making a nuisance of myself How time flys!! (sic)"
Brooke isn’t the only ‘Corrie’ star to celebrate her anniversary on the soap this week.
On Tuesday (02.04.19), Jack P. Shepherd looked back on the last 19 years of his role as David Platt and thanked ‘Corrie’ writers for the "great storylines".
He wrote on Instagram: "Today April 2nd I have been playing David Platt on @coronationstreet for 19 years, thank you for the great storylines and memories. (sic)"
Jack shared several pictures from his time on the cobbles, including one of evil Richard Hillman – played by Brian Capron – holding David hostage.
What’s more, Kym Marsh, who plays Michelle Connor, celebrated 13 years in Weatherfield yesterday (04.04.19).
She wrote on Instagram: "13 years ago today I made my @coronationstreet debut!!! What a 13 years that has been! Thank you so much for the great times, the things I’ve learned and the opportunities I have been given in playing Michelle Connor!! ps: look how young I look (sic)"
However, her time on the soap will come to an end later this year after she quit the cobbles.
