Clayton Hibbs gets more evil than ever as he stabs Shona Ramsey

Clayton Hibbs will be more evil than ever before as he tries to kill his mum Shona Ramsey.
The ‘Coronation Street’ villain – played by Callum Harrison – is set to sink to twisted new lows when he takes Julia Goulding’s alter ego hostage after escaping from his prison guard, and stabs her when he thinks she is going to betray him.
He told The Sun Online’s Soap Bubble: "He’s been evil now hasn’t he, and this is the evilest you can get, what’s going to happen."
Things take a gruesome turn when Shona tries to run away from her killer son, and it makes Clayton react in an awful way.
He added: "He takes her hostage and they share an intimate moment, they share a hug and she thinks she’s got through to him so Clayton drops the knife.
"And then a little thing happens and she makes a run for it. And that’s when he’s like no way, you’ve betrayed me, this is unbelievable, really shocked, he can’t believe it, now he’s even more scared, she really got into his head at this point and he’s just like no way have you betrayed me."
The actor admitted while his return was a surprise even to him, his own mother is delighted he’s back on her favourite soap.
He said: "It’s probably because my mum watches it religiously, so it’s always been on since I was a baby, and she always said ‘if there is anything I want you to be in, it’s ‘Corrie”…
"She thinks he’s nasty doesn’t she. She thinks he’s a nasty piece of work, obviously she’s really happy for me."
It hasn’t been revealed whether Shona will make it out of the tense scenes alive, but Callum has hinted his character would hit the point of no return if he did kill her.
He recently admitted: "I think that would be history for him really, there’d be no coming back from that would there? But you’d just have to wait and see what happens."
