Ben Price compares Nick and David to Cain and Abel

Ben Price has compared Nick Tilsley and David Platt’s relationship to biblical brothers Cain and Abel.
The ‘Coronation Street’ star has suggested he and his on-screen sibling – played by Jack P Shepherd – "fight and hate each other" but will always be bonded by "blood".
He told Inside Soap: "It’s like a Cain and Abel situation – it’s blood. If you have a strong family, you can do whatever the hell you like to each other."
Nick and David are going into business together on a new barbers’ shop on the cobbles after the former stole money from his grandmother Audrey Roberts (Sue Nicholls).
Ben added: "The good thing about David as a character is he’s morally a bit suspect. He’s like, ‘Okay, you nicked the money, but now I run the barbers”, and he can hold that over his brother.
"But Nick wants something else for himself – he doesn’t mind being in the factory, but he doesn’t like being beneath Carla.
"It’s family with Nick and David, so they can fight and hate each other, but they would turn on any outside influence."
While many viewers were angry to see Nick take £80,000 from his grandmother for the business, the soap star admitted he has enjoyed another level to his character.
He explained: "I love Nick’s duplicity. He sees Shona involved with Canyton and the drugs, and he thinks it’s dark and dirty, whereas he reckons all he’s done is taken some money of his grandma… she won’t miss it, so it’s fine!"
