Coronation Street to introduce Gemma Winter’s brother

‘Coronation Street’ is to introduce Gemma Winter’s bad boy brother.
The bubbly barmaid – played by Dolly-Rose Campbell – will be in for a shock when her sibling, Paul Foreman (Peter Ash), rocks up in Weatherfield – and eagle-eyed viewers will recognise him as David Platt’s (Jack P. Shepherd) former cellmate from prison scenes in May.
A source said: "We’ve already had a little taster of what Paul’s about and it was pretty clear that he’d been in prison before when he shared a cell with David.
"So it’s going to be interesting to see what he makes of Gemma’s new life in Weatherfield."
Paul’s cobbles appearance looks set to "shake things up" for former troublemaker Gemma, who has managed to get on the straight and narrow in Weatherfield.
The source added to The Daily Star Sunday newspaper: "She’s managed to escape her past and is enjoying a nice life.
"Her brother turning up is going to certainly shake things up for her."
David will also be shocked by his former cellmate Paul’s arrival.
The pair shared a cell earlier this year when David was banged up after he missed a court date follow an attack on Gary Windass (Mikey North).
Peter appeared as Darius Fry in legendary TV drama ‘Footballers’ Wives’ from 2003 to 2006, and in 2003 he portrayed Keith Jowell in a number of ‘Casualty’ episodes.
What’s more, Peter starred as Ron in ‘Hollyoaks’ earlier this year in a hat-trick of stints, in April, June and August.
