Alan Carr goes tee total for husband Paul Drayton

Alan Carr has given up booze to support his husband.
The ‘Chatty Man’ star’s partner Paul Drayton turned to alcohol while the comedian was away so often on tour, and now they have gone tee total together in a show of unity.
According to the Mirror, Alan quipped at a show in London this week: "He’s been sober for 161 days. I haven’t had a drink during this time either… or a smile."
Alan, 42, has been open about Paul’s battle with alcohol in the past, and admitted his own career was partly to blame.
He previously said: "He had a few issues with alcohol, a lot of the time because I was away so much. I neglected my personal life."
Alan managed to help Paul get his life back on track, but he’ll never forget the mixed emotions he felt before he had to carry on with work.
Speaking in 2016, he explained: "He’d been to rehab a couple of times. Paul came to me a while ago and he told me ‘I need help now.’
"He kept saying to me, my life is out of control. He’s fine now, he’s sorted.
"I’ve been in bits before I stepped on stage but you have to get on with it. Sometimes it actually helps, it is like a tonic, you need the applause."
Alan and Paul tied the knot together in January and it was revealed that global pop star Adele got ordained to play a big role in the special day.
As well as marrying the pair in her back garden in Los Angeles in front of just four people, she also insisted on paying for the entire day.
Alan previously revealed: "It was a very special day. She was amazing. She got ordained. I said, ‘Let me pay for something,’ and she said, ‘No, I’m paying.’ She paid for the whole thing."
