Jodie Marsh’s pet dog Rosie has been hospitalised again leaving her an emotional "mess".
The 39-year-old star’s Rottweiler spent several days receiving treatment at the vet’s in June and was in a critical condition after being admitted due to violent vomiting and bleeding caused by poison she ingested.
Rosie was eventually discharged from the vet’s and allowed to return home but this week the lovable mutt has fallen ill again with ileus which is causing her intestines to fail.
In a series of posts on her Twitter account, she revealed: "Rosie update: she is staying in the animal hospital again as she now has ileus. Basically it means her intestines aren’t working properly. I’m totally lost now. I was so strong when she was poisoned & now I’m out of my mind. Thank you so much for all your kindness … I really appreciate all your lovely messages, I just can’t even look at the moment as I’m so upset about Rosie. Giving all the other animals lots of love tonight and trying to stay positive. My friends have been amazing too. I’m just a bit of a mess at the moment x (sic)"
The new medical emergency has left Jodie raging about the "scum who poisoned" her dog but she is trying to stay positive and has been praying that Rosie makes a full recovery.
She added: "Obviously I have huge anger towards the scum who poisoned her. Trying to focus that anger into something positive instead but it’s hard. Ugly people inside and out. Praying with everything I have that Rosie is ok. Thank you all again. Be back soon for an update x x x
No change in Rosie. There’s still no movement in her guts. Absolutely out of my mind with worry. The nurse just said to me "isn’t she lovely, she’s such a lovely dog" and she really is. Come on Rosie girl, I NEED you to get better (sic)"
