Lucy Mecklenburgh wanted to pull Ryan Thomas out of Celebrity Big Brother house

Lucy Mecklenburgh wanted to drag Ryan Thomas out of the ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ house after Roxanne Pallett’s false accusation.
The former ‘Emmerdale’ actress claimed the ‘Coronation Street’ star punched her in the ribs during a play fight and called for him to be pulled from the show, before making a shock exit of her own while he went on to win the programme
Speaking on ‘This Morning’, Ryan’s girlfriend Lucy said: "It was horrible. I got in my car a few times to drive there because I wanted to drag him out. It was tough. The hardest point I think for me was knowing the support he had that he didn’t know.
"It was so frustrating and watching him cry, I don’t think I’m the only one, I think we were all crying watching you cry. It was horrible, it was really hard."
Ryan admitted he "questioned" himself over the incident, but felt "massive" sense of relief when he heard the public chanting ‘Get Roxy out’ during an eviction.
He added: "Like you say, you’re not supposed to hear what happens on the outside, but that sort of clarification for me was massive and you see me sort of crying again because it was a relief of the public giving me something that I needed right then."
The actor – who clarified he hasn’t received a rumoured written apology letter from Roxanne yet – went on to win the show, and he revealed he wanted to distance himself from the "negative" side of the experience.
He explained: "The most important thing for me coming out is family and friends, being around loved ones. You know, Big Brother was a lonely place for me at times and I don’t wanna look back at that whole experience as a negative. I know how much that show can have a massive impact on a person like Roxanne and I don’t really wanna be a part of it."
