Amy Walsh would love Emmerdale sister story

Amy Walsh would love her sisters Kimberley and Sally Walsh to join ‘Emmerdale’.
The 31-year-old actress is keen for her Girls Aloud singer sibling Kimberley and former Dales star Sally – who played Lyn Hutchinson in the show from 1997 until 2000 – to act alongside her one day, but admits the commute could be "tricky" for the former ‘Shrek The Musical’ star.
Speaking at the TV Choice Awards at London’s Dorchester Hotel on Monday night (10.09.18), Amy – who plays Tracy Metcalfe in the soap – exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "Kimberley hasn’t met with ‘Emmerdale’ bosses, but let’s never say never.
"But I don’t know if she could do the commute like I do.
"I live in London and come back. It’s tough. And obviously she’s got kids now.
"It would be tricky, but it would be fun.
"My eldest sister Sally was in ‘Emmerdale’ nearly 20 years ago, and I always think it would be so funny if those two came into it as my long-lost sisters. We’ll leave it as me for now."
Kimberley recently starred as Claire Butterworth in Channel 4 drama series ‘Ackley Bridge’, and Amy enjoyed helping her sister out with her lines and going out for dinner with her when she was filming in Yorkshire.
She added: "Kimberley was so good, she did so well on the show.
"I loved it when she was doing it because she would come up to Yorkshire, because she was filming in Bradford, so she would be like, ‘I’m coming up the end of this week, are you in Leeds?’
"It was so nice having family coming up to visit me when I was working, because usually I’m following her around on tour.
"She would learn her lines over dinner – she’s so talented."
