Nadine Coyle lands panto gig

Nadine Coyle is set to star in a ‘Grease’-inspired Christmas pantomime in Liverpool.
The Girls Aloud star was forced to cancel her solo tour in May due to production issues, but that hasn’t stopped the ‘Love Machine’ singer from bagging herself a new stage role.
The Irish singer will make her debut in Bongo Bingo’s festival musical extravaganza at the Northern city’s Camp And Furnace theatre later this year.
As well as classic songs from the popular musical, the 33-year-old star is also set to sing Girls Aloud’s hits too.
The run kicks off on November 27, with shows schedule to run until December 29.
A source says Nadine has signed a contract which will see her perform for three weeks for a "five-figure" cheque.
They told The Sun newspaper’s Bizarre column: "Nadine has been a huge draw already and has accepted a five-figure sum for the three-week stint. She has also had to sign a contract to say she will perform a couple of Girls Aloud tracks during the shows.
"Most of the shows have already sold out since Nadine was announced as the star of the show."
As for the shows she axed earlier this year, the Irish star didn’t say whether she would be rescheduling or playing anymore dates in the future.
Nadine had planned to perform the girl group’s songs on her own, after a reunion with her bandmates – Nicola Roberts, Sarah Harding, Kimberley Walsh and Cheryl Tweedy – proved too difficult, and due to the demand from fans on social media.
Speaking previously, Nadine said: "I love the Girls Aloud songs and get messages from fans asking to hear them performed live again. So this is giving them what they want.
"This tour is gonna be one big party night out. All the hits the fans love plus the new songs I’ve been working on over the last few years. I literally can’t wait to get out back on the road again."
