Jeremy Kyle has gushed over his "amazing" newborn granddaughter.
The 53-year-old TV presenter has shown his soft side after his 27-year-old daughter Harriet gave birth to a baby girl earlier this year, and he thinks the little one is the "best looking baby in the world".
Speaking to The Sun Online, he said: "I love it. Everyone says it’s great because you can give them back! But no, she’s amazing, she’s very important.
"I tell everyone ‘she’s the best looking baby in the world!’ and her mum Hattie has done a fantastic job. I’m very proud."
The ‘Jeremy Kyle Show’ host has admitted that he has been guilty of spoiling his granddaughter with too many gifts.
He said: "It did happen once; [her mum and dad] were like, ‘What are you doing?’ And I was like, ‘She probably needs that.’
"The thing is, they’re her parents, I get the fun part. And then, when she’s a bit older, I get the babysitting duties."
Jeremy also has children Alice, 14, Ava, 12, and Henry, eight with ex-wife Carla Germaine, and it’s his kids who help him to unwind after a stressful day filming ‘The Jeremy Kyle Show’.
He said: "I love what I do, I’m very lucky. But I have to go home and be a dad too.
"There are school shoes to be bought, homework to be done, school trips to be taken to and from. That’s a great balance and makes it easier for me."
Jeremy is getting married in February to his girlfriend Vicky Burton, 35, but admitted he hasn’t started wedding planning just yet.
