Laurence Fox is single again.
The 40-year-old actor is back on the market after he split from his girlfriend Lilah Parsons recently following 10 months of dating because they couldn’t match up their busy work schedules and had barely seen one another over the past few months.
A source told The Sun newspaper: "Laurence and Lilah have been struggling to make it work over the past few months as they never spend any time together.
"Laurence hardly sees Lilah, what with filming for his new role in Victoria, writing music and being a dad.
"And Lilah has also been swamped with work at Heart Radio after stepping in for Sian Welby in the evening, and has been working all weekend too.
"Laurence ultimately decided to pull the plug on things as he felt he couldn’t fully commit – much to Lilah’s devastation. They’ve kept things pretty amicable and are both hoping they’ll be able to remain friends in the future."
Fans began to speculate that Laurence and Lilah had called it a day when they unfollowed one another on social media – just hours before the 30-year-old radio DJ started posting some cryptic messages on her Twitter account.
Earlier this week, she tweeted: "Sometimes you just need a hug. Once the storm is over you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, in fact, whether the storm is really over . . . "
Laurence hasn’t had the best of luck when it comes to relationships over the years as he was previously married to Billie Piper – with whom he has sons Winston, nine, and Eugene, six – but their romance broke down in 2016 and has turned somewhat bitter.
He also dated Vogue Williams – who is now married to Spencer Matthews and is expecting a baby with him – and had a short-lived romance with Kirsty Gallacher.
