James Moore hits back at trolls

James Moore has hit back at trolls by suggesting they use subtitles if they cannot understand him on ‘Emmerdale’.
The ITV soap newcomer – who plays Charity Dingle’s (Emma Atkins) son Ryan Stocks in the show – has taken to Twitter to respond to some viewers who have criticised him, by posting a picture of how they can turn on English subtitles on their TV sets.
James – who, like his character, has cerebral palsy – wrote: "To everyone who says they can’t understand me in Emmerdale, I have compiled this easy to use guide for your viewing pleasure. Simply set the option to ‘English ‘ and enjoy. (sic)"
But the star insists he is "not bothered" by some of the viewer reaction to his appearance on the soap.
He tweeted: "Just to clarify- I’m not bothered, I just thought this was funny (sic)"
One fan replied: "I can understand every word you say perfectly. So either I have some kind of Superman hearing power I didn’t know about or these people complaining are just trolling. Please don’t pay attention to them. You are apsolutely brilliant (sic)"
Another posted: "You’re doing a great job @jamesmooreactor. Ignore the sarcastic ones. I can understand you perfectly well. Loving your scenes. Last night’s were brilliant (sic)"
One tweeted: "You are a great actor James! Thank you for making Emmerdale my favourite program to watch!!! (sic)"
James recently took aim at viewers who have criticised his long hair since he joined ‘Emmerdale’.
He wrote: "To everyone who has commented about my hair, or my style- I think someone said I looked homeless – maybe you should be focusing more on the plot and less on superficialities. Acting isn’t a beauty contest (sic)"
However, James has received numerous messages of support from ‘Emmerdale’ supporters.
One supporter recently admitted they felt "proud" as "a disabled viewer" to see him doing a top job on screen.
He replied: "Love this. Don’t ever let disability stop you from achieving your dreams. You can do anything. (sic)"
