Tom Hopper has become a father for the second time.
The ‘Game of Thrones’ actor and his wife Laura – who already have three-year-old son Freddie together – welcomed a daughter into the world over the weekend and have named the tot Truly Rose.
The 33-year-old actor posted a picture of the newborn on Instagram with the caption: "So my amazing wife @laurahopperhops gave birth to our second beautiful child.
"Welcome to the world, our baby daughter, Truly Rose Hopper.
"Weighing 8lb 1oz. Family bed times just got even more cozy" (sic)
The ‘Merlin’ actor – who married Laura in 2014 – later posted another picture of him holding his daughter without a shirt on, and recommended the "skin on skin" contact to other parents as a unique bonding experience.
He captioned the photo: "I feel like the luckiest guy on earth.
"There is no feeling like the skin on skin i’ve had with our beautiful children after their births.
"An immediate and unique bonding process that is the most beautiful of moments to experience as a parent.
"Their hearts beating next to yours for the first time, and your body warmth keeping them comfortable and secure. A true blessing to be able to give and it’s nature at its finest. (sic)"
The ‘I Feel Pretty’ actor then went on to thank the NHS for the quality of care his family had received.
He posted: "I feel so lucky to have had this experience with both our babies straight after they were born. Memories that I will treasure forever.
"Thank you #nhs for giving us the best possible birthing experiences and care for both our babies."
