Annie Wallace’s Hollyoaks emotion

Annie Wallace found it "very emotional" filming Hollyoaks’ Magaluf episodes.
The 53-year-old actress – who plays Sally St. Claire in the Channel 4 soap – has revealed the cast have completed filming in the Spanish resort town, for what is rumoured to be Mercedes McQueen’s (Jennifer Metcalfe) hen do.
Annie wrote on Twitter: "After four very HOT and emotional days… that’s a WRAP for Sally in #magalufoaks … time for some R & R before flying back…. you’re gonna LOVE it, Oaksters! #Hollyoaks (sic)"
The cast are thought to have been shooting Mercedes’ return to the village after pictures emerged of the character downing champagne in Majorca.
TV star Richard Arnold will make a cameo in the Spanish-set scenes, and has teased fans that he will be scantily clad in his ‘Hollyoaks’ debut.
He said: "I’ve been sent the script which involves me being by a swimming pool.
"Just what I need after watching ‘Love Island’ this week, to be half naked with a load of people half my age."
‘Hollyoaks’ cast members Chelsee Healey, Amy Conachan, Diane Langton and David Tag also flew to Magaluf to shoot the scenes.
News of Richard’s cameo comes just weeks after TV presenter Alan Carr made an appearance in the soap alongside his dogs Bev and Joyce – and he was relieved the pooches didn’t poop on set.
He said: "Bev had a fur ball so she was like [choking noises].
"I’m just relieved she didn’t do a poo."
Alan had fun shooting the scene, which saw him walking his two canines in the village before stopping to try to nosy in on a dispute Yazz Maalik (Haiesha Mistry) was having with Tony Hutchinson (Nick Pickard) and Diane Hutchinson (Alex Fletcher).
And he has since joked the part could land him a BAFTA.
He said: "I’ve had a great time. I can’t wait for everyone to see my cameo.
"It’s very good – it’s got BAFTA written all over it … maybe not."
