Kieron Richardson thinks Hannah could return to ‘Hollyoaks’ with her mum Sinead O’Connor.
Actress Stephanie Davis, 25, will be back on the Channel 4 soap this autumn as it was confirmed she will be reprising her role of Sinead two years after the character fled the fictional village with her and Ste Hay’s daughter.
Now, Kieron – who has played Ste since 2006 – has told The Sun Online’s Soap Bubble: "Ste and Sinead had a baby before she left so hopefully baby Hannah will be coming back with her…
"Sinead’s got that sass, she’s all about the skimpy outfits and the heels so I hope she comes back exactly as she left."
Sinead left in 2015 after discovering Ste had slept with Harry, but now it appears both characters could be making a comeback – and Kieron, 32, is "absolutely buzzing".
He added: "I spoke to Steph on the phone a few times but I haven’t seen her physically. Last time Steph left, to me she was just Sinead, Steph Davis – but now she’s, like, a massive celebrity!
"So I’ll have to bow down to her when she comes back. I love the bones off the girl. She is hilarious and she’s had some really tough times so it’s nice to see she’s come out the other end of it."
Speaking after it was announced she would be heading back, former ‘Celebrity Big Brother’ star Steph – who has 16-month-old son Caben with ex Jeremy McConnell – admitted she was overjoyed to be able to work on her "passion" again.
"I’m over the moon to be given this amazing opportunity and so excited to bring feisty Sinead back to ‘Hollyoaks’.
"I can’t wait to see all the cast and crew there, many that I have known for years. I just want to get stuck into learning my first scripts I can’t wait to be on set and hear the 1ST AD shout ‘rolling up’ and be back acting again, which is my passion."
