Janet Jackson urged people to turn to god in her acceptance speech at the Billboard Music Awards.
The 52-year-old singer gave her first televised performance in nine years at the ceremony at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday (20.05.18).
The star referenced the Time’s Up movement as she picked up the ICON Award and offered a ‘prayer’ that others turn ‘back to the source of all calmness’ to seek out positive values, after her performance of ‘Nasty’, ‘If’ and ‘Throb’.
