Poldark S4 will be ‘tempestuous’

Aidan Turner has teased that the fourth series of ‘Poldark’ will be "tempestuous."
The third instalment ended on a cliffhanger as Ross Poldark (Aidan) and his wife Demelza (Eleanor Tomlinson) were left wondering whether they could save their relationship after the flame-haired beauty gave into the temptation of the charming Hugh Armitage (Josh Whitehouse) while her spouse’s attention was elsewhere.
While fans are no doubt hoping that the couple can work through their struggles, the 34-year-old actor has teased that the forthcoming series will start off "rocky."
Speaking to the Radio Times magazine, he said: "They might start off a bit rocky and they might try to figure things out.
"It’s a very real relationship, these things can happen in a marriage. I think we tackle it in a very real way. It’s something an audience will understand."
But there is still some time for the well-loved couple to patch up their differences as Eleanor recently confirmed that there will be a fifth series of the popular drama.
Speaking in a video message sent to those at the BFI screening of series four, she said: "Hey everyone, I’m really sorry I can’t be there tonight at the BFI screening of series four, episode one. I’m unfortunately tied up filming ‘War of the Worlds’ at the minute so I’ve been running from aliens on a daily basis, which has been fun. I’m looking forward to some more cliff-staring which is actually why I’m sending this video message because I can confirm that we are going to make series five of ‘Poldark’.
"So exciting! Thank you so much for all your support. We wouldn’t have been there, we wouldn’t have made this show what it’s become without you guys so thank you."
However, Aidan previously confirmed ‘Poldark’ will end after five series as all the stories had been covered.
