Kim Kardashian West had no idea Kanye had reactivated Twitter

Kim Kardashian West had no idea Kanye West had reactivated his Twitter until she saw his recent tweets.
The 40-year-old rapper reactivated his account on the micro-blogging website recently after deleting it last year, and his wife Kim – with whom he has four-year-old North, two-year-old Saint, and three-month-old Chicago – has admitted she didn’t know he was back on the platform until he started causing a stir with his recent tweets concerning controversial president Donald Trump.
She said: "I didn’t even know he got his Twitter again until I started seeing tweets coming in from other people retweeting them. And I was like, wait, is this real? And then at night he came in and said, ‘Did you see my tweets?’ I was like, ‘Yes, I did see your tweets,’ and I followed him back."
Kanye’s tweets over the past few weeks have covered everything from excerpts of his upcoming philsophy book, to new designs for his Yeezy fashion label, to voicing his support for President Trump and sharing pictures of his hat signed by the politican, which bears the controversial slogan "Make America Great Again".
But Kim, 37, isn’t surprised by the content of his posts, as he’s constantly making the similar statements around their home.
Speaking on ‘The Ellen Degeneres Show’, she said: "I mean, I hear him say all these things in the house. He’s always talking about clarity, and he talks about how we should not have our phones first thing in the morning and in the house when we’re with our kids … It’s our rule that we really try to live by, so I think he was talking about cleansing."
The ‘Heartless’ rapper turned heads when he took to Twitter this week to voice his support for President Trump, in a series of tweets which dubbed the figurehead as his "brother", and said the pair share the same "dragon energy".
He wrote: "You don’t have to agree with trump but the mob can’t make me not love him. We are both dragon energy. He is my brother. I love everyone. I don’t agree with everything anyone does. That’s what makes us individuals. And we have the right to independent thought.
"If your friend jumps off the bridge you don’t have to do the same. Ye being Ye is a fight for you to be you. For people In my life the idea of Trump is pretty much a 50 50 split but I don’t tell a Hillary supporter not to support Hillary
"I love Hillary too. (sic)"
At the time, ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ star Kim posted on her own Twitter account in defence of her husband.
She wrote: "Now when he spoke out about Trump… Most people (including myself) have very different feelings & opinions about this. But this is HIS opinion. I believe in people being able to have their own opinions, even if really different from mine. He never said he agrees with his politics
"He’s a free thinker, is that not allowed in America? Because some of his ideas differ from yours you have to throw in the mental health card? That’s just not fair. He’s actually out of the sunken place when he’s being himself which is very expressive (sic)"
Kanye’s tweets have caused the likes of Katy Perry, Ariana Grande, Kendrick Lamar, The Weeknd, Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Justin Bieber, and Rihanna to unfollow the rapper on social media.
