Avicii’s death not suspicious

Avicii’s death is not being treated with "criminal suspicion".
The Swedish-born DJ tragically passed away on Friday (20.04.18) at the age of 28 whilst on holiday in Muscat, Oman, and whilst no details have been revealed about his passing, police have claimed there was no criminal intent or foul play behind his death.
According to TMZ, autopsies were performed on the ‘Wake Me Up’ hitmaker – whose real name is Tim Bergling – this weekend, which led to the conclusion that "there is no criminal suspicion in the death".
Following the completion of the initial autopsies, Avicii’s body is set to be flown back to Sweden this week, to return to his family.
Police confirmed: "He is survived by his parents, two brothers and sister – who are all completely devastated."
The tragic passing of the ‘Hey Brother’ musician – whose real name is Tim Bergling – was confirmed in a statement by his publicist this week.
It read: "It is with profound sorrow that we announce the loss of Tim Bergling, also known as Avicii. He was found dead in Muscat, Oman this Friday afternoon local time, April 20th. The family is devastated and we ask everyone to please respect their need for privacy in this difficult time. No further statements will be given."
At the time of writing, the cause of his death has not been made public.
Avicii had been open about his health issues in the past and had previously retired from touring. He had been battling with acute pancreatitis – which is a potentially life-threatening inflammation of the pancreas – due in part to excessive drinking, and had his gallbladder and appendix removed in 2014.
His family are yet to have made a public statement on his passing, but his brother is believed to have flown to Oman to search for answers into how the star died.
