Olivia Attwood says Chris Hughes messaging Katie Price was worse than her messaging her former boyfriend.
Chris dumped Olivia after she sent messages to her footballer ex Bradley Deck and Olivia was surprised because she stood by him after he exchanged texts with former glamour model Katie.
She told The Sun: "Chris was angry that I’d sent some messages to my ex [footballer Bradley Dack]. I was out with the girls and we all thought it was funny at the time.
"But when I woke up the next morning I thought: ‘What have I done?’
"Bradley is a friend, and I love Chris. We may not be compatible but the fact that we love each other has never been in doubt. What I did wasn’t as bad as what Chris had done.
He was suffering with the backlash. He didn’t sleep with [Katie] so I stood by him."
Their intense romance had been plagued by rows and temporary splits and although it seems as though the pair’s love story has come to an end now Olivia admits she still has deep feelings for Chris and would consider getting back with the hunk if some things changed.
The ‘Love Island’ star said: "If we hadn’t done Love Island, Chris and I would never have met. Hopefully one day we can hit the reset button and do things differently."
Olivia, 26, got the news that Chris, 25, wanted to call things off in a phone call ahead of a planned filming day for their series ‘Crackin’ On’, and it came after he’d threatened a break-up during a handful of rows.
The blonde beauty wanted to stay with the farm boy from Gloucestershire but accepted that it was over and she thinks their issues stemmed from a "lack of respect" they had for one another which was first bred on ‘Love Island’.
Speaking previously, Olivia said: "If I’d been ready to walk away, I would have. The compatibility has always been an issue, but the love never has. It’s a difficult thing … If we could go back to the beginning, we’d do things differently. The lack of respect we had for each other set in early, and when you lose that it’s difficult to pull it back."
