The ‘Satisfaction’ rockers were famously banned from performing in Blackpool in 1964, after a full-blown riot kicked off at the Empress Ballroom.
The audience went crazy after someone allegedly tried to spit at late band member Brian Jones, and guitarist Keith Richards decided to intervene by kicking the person in the face.
All hell broke loose, with 7,000 fans erupting into a rage and 50 people even ended up in hospital.
The band wouldn’t have their ban from the Northern city lifted until 2008, 44 years after the infamous riot.
