Blac Chyna’s leaked sex tape partner has praised Rob Kardashian.
The ‘Rob & Chyna’ star was devastated after a video of her performing oral sex on her ex-boyfriend Mechie recently linked online and the rapper – who says he has no idea how it became public – had nothing but admiration for her ex-fiance Rob during a recent interview and insisted that she never cheated on Rob with him.
Speaking to The Shade Room on Instagram Live about Chyna, he said: "No, she wasn’t with Rob. She left Rob the year before we met back in December. She was not with Rob when we linked up. She had the baby and had already moved out and dipped off from him.
"Rob is a real nice guy. I think he was just really hurt about everything."
Mechie also gave some details about how the racy video came to be filmed.
He said: "Basically, we were at the club and she’s like we need to link up so we did and then that’s what lead to the video happening."
Mechie’s relationship with Chyna, 29, ended in August 2017, just two months after the pair started dating, and the rapper insisted it was distracting people from his music.
He said: "To be completely honest, it just got to a point where the so called hype and fame of the relationship was starting to get out of hands and overshadow what I had going on with my music and my brand. It was getting in the way of what I had going on.
"It helped me get more fans and followers around the world but it also hurt me because it tied me to her brand and a lot of people didn’t want to deal with a messy situation and she’s got a messy situation. I have my own label and I lost investors and sponsorship deals because I was tied to her. You gain and lose."
After the sex tape went public, Chyna’s lawyer Lisa Bloom called it a "cruel attempt to slut shame women".
She tweeted: "Revenge porn posting explicit images without the consent of everyone in those images – is a crime, a civil wrong, and a form of domestic abuse. It’s also a cruel attempt to slut shame women for being sexual."
And in response to a follower who dismissed the outcry because Chyna "knew" she was being recorded, the lawyer added: "Whether a woman knows she’s being recorded is not the issue. Whether she consented to posting is. Our bodies, our choice, each and every time."
