Christine Lampard would love to have a baby.
The ‘Loose Women’ panellist has admitted she’d really like to have children with her husband Frank Lampard, but she’s not overly worried if it doesn’t happen for them because she’s already a step mother to his two daughters Luna, 12, and Isla, 10.
Speaking to the Daily Mirror newspaper, she said: "If it happens, of course it would be wonderful. If not, we have two girls – and one is about to embark on her teenage years, so that is a whole other chapter about to happen. That is honestly where our heads are at, and we just enjoy life as best we can in between. I have no huge aspirations at all."
And the retired footballer’s girls, whom he has with his ex Rivas Elen, absolutely adore Christine – and they even made her cry recently with a sweet handwritten birthday card.
She said: "I had the girls in waking us up at 6am to wish me happy birthday. They both wrote the most beautiful cards which made me cry. I couldn’t believe how much they loved me. The wee one wrote: I usually start cards with ‘dear’ but this is an extraordinary card for an extraordinary person.’ She is 10! She went on to say: ‘I love you being my step mum’ and so I started to cry. I’m proud I have that kind of relationship with them."
The 39-year-old presenter will celebrate her 40th birthday next year, but she’s adamant she doesn’t mind about the ageing process and joining ‘Loose Women’ has helped.
She explained: "We’ve never talked about the age thing, it doesn’t bother me. You can’t do anything about it so why worry? Age has never fazed me. I think being on ‘Loose Women’ is a brilliant platform for that because we all look different, different age groups, amd we are all different shapes and sizes. And it works."
